Some geographical facts about the Hautes Alpes de Provence. 🇺🇸🇬🇧😎

Are you curious to find out some geographical facts about the region ?

Here is a little list we made :

#1: The “Departements” De Hautes Alpes de Provence is divided in 3️⃣ sections : The Grandes Alpes, the Préalpes and the Plateaux (= Flat surfaces in the mountains).

#2: The seismic activity here is moderate to average. This is due to the presence of many faults lines (The Durance being one of them). But, rest reassured, the walls of this house are solid and nothing has fallen of our shelves so far.

#3: The major river here is the Durance and the climate is mediterranean for the most part. Of course there are some variations between the different altitudes in the mountains. ⛰️

#4: You’ll find plenty of info regarding the weather in one of the previous posts dedicated to it.
