About the weather up here ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿค“

Hello everbody !

As a pilot, it is important to know what the weather is going to be like, especially if you fly in a glider! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

That's why looking at the yearly weather might give you a usefull hint. Here is a list we have compiled :

#1: The coldest months are December, January and February, with maximas varying between 9 and 11ยฐC. This means that, in general, when it snows, the white mantel doesnโ€™t stay for long. โ„๏ธ

#2: The hottests months are June, July, august and September with maximas reaching between 25 and 30ยฐC. Although, in the last year, we had way hotter temperatures, especially in the sun. โ˜€๏ธ

#3: The months with the most light available would be May, June, July and August. The day are in between 14 and 15.50 hours of light per day. ๐Ÿ’ก

#4: The months where it rains the most are April, September, October and November. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ But rarely above 100mm. (Information from this website: https://www.partir.com/Provence/Sisteron/2974446/quand-partir.html).

#5: In the summer, there are in general few clouds, meaning that you will be seldom limited in altitude by them.

Other sources used to gather this information was : NOAA.

We wish you a very happy day, ๐Ÿค

The Valauris Team. ๐ŸŒณ
